Sign Up fee is one-time non-transferable fees that are solely for the privilege of membership to join the club and are due upon signing this agreement. Initiation fees are not in lieu of monthly dues and by themselves do not grant the right of the member to use the facilities.
Members have two (2) operating days from the date of signing this contract to cancel this contract without any penalty or obligation and to receive a full refund of all amounts paid. Notice of cancellation should be delivered either using the email address provided upon sign up detailing your request to cancel the membership or by personally delivering a signed and dated written notice of cancellation to the Northwest Badminton Club front desk.
Contract is effectively terminated at the end of the month in which the cancellation notice was received. Member is liable for and agrees to pay all fees and charges accrued until the cancellation is effective.
Any member who fails to pay membership dues or any fees that are overdue more than three days will receive a delinquent notice suspending membership privileges until all overdue membership dues and fees have been paid. Any member who fails to pay overdue membership dues and fees for two months will lose their membership status without receiving any refund.
Northwest Badminton Club does not allow smoking, animals or weapons in the facility. Anyone found to be violating this policy will be required to leave the Northwest Badminton Club premises immediately without refund and may be barred from entering the Northwest Badminton Club premises in the future.
Northwest Badminton Club is not responsible for any lost or stolen items from it’s premises.
Non-marking (no black soles) indoor-only court shoes must ALWAYS be worn in court area. It is essential to carry indoor shoes into the club and wear different shoes to the club so that we do not track in sand and dirt from outside which will damage the wooden floors.
Guests must Sign in, Pay Drop-in Fee & get the guest tag before entering the court area. If a guest is not accompanied by a member and you allow them in, you become responsible for their visit.
Suspending Membership: You may suspend your membership at the beginning of a month. A suspension fee of $15.00+ Tax/month will be implemented at the start of the suspension date. Members reactivating their membership from suspension in between a month will be charged only the prorated membership fee after deducting the hold fee they already paid for that month.
Cancel/Rejoin: Returning members (Members who canceled and wants to rejoin)are required to pay the sign up fee again to renew their membership.
Court Reservation: All members are required to reserve the courts to play. Reservation slots are available from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekdays, 08:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturday and 08:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Sundays. Reservation Slots for the next week (Monday through Sunday) open up on Saturday morning between 10:00 AM - 10:15 AM.
Monthly memberships are renewed automatically on 1st of every month.
Youth is for age 17 & under and Senior for age 65 & above.
Northwest Badminton Club reserves the right to close a portion of the club or close the entire club to make repairs/improvements or to conduct tournaments in its sole discretion. All payments due under the contract will be charged during this closure period. Northwest Badminton Club may elect to close the facility permanently in its sole discretion. Failure to utilize the facility does not relieve the member from liability for dues, fees and other charges incurred on member’s account.
Northwest Badminton Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate this membership and periodically adjust the membership fees in its sole and arbitrary discretion.
